Owning a villa in Troia is investing in quality time. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea and the scent of pines and herbs is sensuous, soothing to the soul. Tróia’s Atlantic Villas are located in natural pine groves next to the sea and the river and a walking distance to the beach.

These villas demonstrate a global concept of integrated outside spaces as designed by Arq. Hipólito Bettencourt which centre on pedestrian areas, gardens and leisure areas, which use existing natural features and, in some cases, mimic organic formations.

Here bespoke villas can be developed, with modern architecture and projects designed by Arq. João Paciência, Intergaup and J. J. Silva Garcia.

Single-storey  lakeside villa

This amazing villa is built on a single storey, with separate living areas and bedrooms.

One of the features that make this villa unique is the beautiful fireplace that divides the living and the dining room. The majestic interior spaces, which are both modern and cosy, extend out with the spectacular views over the lake and the surrounding landscape, while the villa’s outdoor space is dominated by an infinity pool that creates a visually stunning and precious effect of water extending to the horizon and merging with the lake.

“The architecture is a spiritual construction using geometry without imitating nature. This is joined by the organism of the reconstructed landscape, suggesting materials, which, rejecting the preconception of using what is specific to the region, reinforce the naturalness of the place and can age well with time.”

Golf course villa, Troia

The design of this three-bedroom villa includes a water mirror around the house, which is not only a connecting element with the infinity pool but it also creates the feeling of transparency and of being drifted away.

The three en-suite bedrooms are on the upper floor of the villa. The master bedroom has a large terrace to enjoy the beautiful view over the ocean and the golf course, as well as a private Jacuzzi.

On the ground floor, the living and dining area are full of light and offer spectacular views over the golf course and the surrounding landscape, with a beautiful open-plan kitchen perfect for entertaining.

“Water on water. Concrete strength, fresh blue, pale, smooth boards. Vertical plains sustaining horizontal plains, balancing the view over plains of water. Transparent, mirror, reflection.”

Intergaup

Beachfront villa

Featuring magnificent views over the beach, this villa is composed of 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, living and dining area with fireplace, fully fitted kitchen, private garden and swimming pool and an additional room perfect for a home office, library or guest room.

“A platform floating on the sand. Balsa, lightness, yellows, smoothness and lukewarm light. The villa disguises itself as temporary, the roof opening to the landscape. It is built without weight or effort. It displays the lines supporting it, perching on the dunes – without interfering.”
